Good Friends Friends are friends, not because they are identical and always like the same things, or because they always think the same way, but because there is an understanding between two friends that exists at all times. There is a silent bond of respect and admiration and a strong sense of love that doesn’t go unspoken. Friends tell each other what they are thinking and how they are feeling. Friends allow each other to find their own space. They are ready to give comfort and to be a gentle guiding force when we are experiencing challenging moments. A true friend is someone who doesn’t try to change you but allows you to change yourself, so you can discover your talents and pursue your dreams. A good friendship promotes your happiness and delights in seeing you happy. They make you smile, even when they are not there. A friend is one of life’s most valued treasures. Something to Think About It’s said that most people can count the number of “true friends” on one hand, but if you have at least one true good friend, you are a fortunate person.
