Your Motivation, Inspiration,
& Direction for the Week
Ahead
Be Thankful
I hope you had a great
weekend! Now is the time to
prepare for your November mailings. What are you thankful for? This is a great
time to tell your clients that you’re thankful for them. I’ve heard many great
ideas over the years, but maybe the most effective also is the simplest: a
handwritten notecard to every client that reads, “At this time of year, when I
reflect on what I’m most thankful for, I’m thankful for you and the trust that
you have placed in me to meet your real estate needs. Wishing you and your
family a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.” Another great idea I
heard was an agent who personally delivered a pie to every client at his/her
place of work! He left a few business cards at each drop-off and discovered that
the pie recipients’ co-workers were so impressed with his gesture that many
called him for their real estate needs. Most important, take the
time to show appreciation for your clients, your family and your friends. They,
after all, are your true employers. Something to Think
About A recent USA

handwritten note is the best and easiest way to get someone’s attention.

reaching out with gratitude. Words of
Wisdom “In everyone’s life, at
some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter
with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who
rekindle the inner spirit.” – Albert Schweitzer “Often people ask how I
manage to be happy despite having no arms and no legs. The quick answer is that
I have a choice. I can be angry about not having limbs, or I can be thankful
that I have a purpose. I chose gratitude.” – Nick Vujicic “The smallest act of
kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.” – Oscar Wilde
“If you
concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, you will discover
that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures
the soul.” – Harold Kushner “You simply will not be
the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for
the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an
ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be
given you.” – Sarah Ban Breathnack
